I recently got back from a year of traveling the world doing humanitarian aid and missions work. I had the incredible opportunity to photograph some of the most amazing people and places on earth. My dream is to travel around the world doing missions work and supporting it through photography. This year was filled with incredible moments and captivating people. It is my dream to share these memories with you. I hope these images capture your heart as much as the people and places did mine.

Photography is more to me than just taking pictures. My hearts’ passion is to convey an emotion and reach hearts. I believe that photography can be used to touch lives, and change worlds. One of the reasons I began pursuing photography is because I wanted to see it used to unite people, no matter their location. As I traveled this year, I saw many different places and people who were hurting and dying. I had to do more than just take pictures of them. I believe that we can touch the lives of people, even when they are a world away. That is how the Retouch Initiative was born.
